ECOTOURISM

Located in a position of tranquillity within the Bungawalbyn Wetlands, Forest Glen Organic Farm's 62.45 Ha offers a range of ecotourism activities as an alternative to just putting your feet up and enjoying the pure peace of nature.

Explore the area and you're sure to spot a mob of kangaroos or any number of native birds. Unwind by sitting on the deck and watching a flock of ducks landing on the billabong or one of the gorgeous sunsets. Enjoy the morning calls of the myriad of song birds, including kookaburras, magpies and butcher birds. At other times there are the swallows, fairy wrens, honey eaters, masked plovers and many more. There's something for everyone!

ACTIVITIES ON THE FARM

Apart from becoming absorbed in nature's offerings, there are plenty of other things to do at Forest Glen Organic Farm. From learning about tea tree oil or organic farming, to fishing in our wide creek and exploring the local area. If staying on the farm, you can swim in our pool, ride a pushbike around the grounds, enjoy our bonfire under the stars, while stargazing through our powerful binoculars or one of our telescopes. Don't miss playing with one of our friendly farm dogs. A short drive can take you to the rainforest or a river or the beach - there's plenty to see on and off the farm!

WILDLIFE

Nothing could be healthier than exploring Forest Glen Organic Farm's 62.45 Ha property, featuring abundant retained native bushland providing a valuable wildlife corridor, wide lawns, gardens and billabongs. Bungawalbin is famous for its myriad mammals, birdlife and reptiles. It is nearly a kilometre to Bungawalbyn Creek, a walk that will take you past native bushland, fields of tea tree plantation, grassland, waterholes and gullies, ensuring a wide range of bird species in such a short distance.
