If you are thinking of volunteering for periods of time during your trip to Australia, you should consider volunteering at Forest Glen Organic Farm. We offer a great experience in a beautiful environment in northern NSW, a region renowned for its natural biodiversity and its broad musical and art cultures.
The hosts, Amanda and Trevor, are the authors of the books "WWOOF Hosting: A Practical Guide" (written for Hosts) and "WWOOFers Handbook: A Down to Earth Guidebook for Volunteering" (written for Volunteers). Through years of hosting experience, they have developed an extensive expertise in WWOOF hosting and in running an organic farm. If you are interested in purchasing one of the very helpful books, please visit the WWOOF page.
By volunteering here, you will help Forest Glen Organic Farm operate to its full potential, learn how the farm is run and meet great local people and world travellers alike!
Clean and comfortable accommodation (comprising hostel-style sleeping quarters, a games room with pool table, table tennis and fussball, a large common room for hanging out), great meals and use of facilities (including swimming pool) are all part of working here. Limited Wi-Fi internet is available for email and light browsing.
